QA Engineer

Responsibilities
- Create test plans and test cases based on requirements and user stories
- Perform manual and exploratory testing of new features
- Build and maintain automated UI and API tests
- Write clear, reproducible bug reports and track them to resolution
- Run regression tests before each release
- Work with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Identify and reduce flaky or slow tests
- Share quality metrics and release risks with the team
Requirements
- Experience testing web or mobile software in a professional setting
- Ability to design thorough test cases, including edge cases
- Experience with a test automation framework such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar
- Basic programming skills in JavaScript, Python, or Java
- Experience testing APIs with tools like Postman or code-based frameworks
- Clear written communication, especially in bug reports
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
Nice to have
- Experience with performance or load testing tools
- Familiarity with accessibility testing
- Experience with CI tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
- ISTQB or similar QA certification
